In 1998, we made the drive all the way across the park to Yosemite Valley. I hadn't been there in years, and I don't think I'll be going back soon. The scenery is spectacular, with Half Dome towering over you, and the tall waterfalls thundering down, but on the ground, there were gift shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and the people everywhere. It reminded me more of Disneyland (without the rides) than a National Park.
