| Olmsted Point is a scenic turnout on the
Tioga Road. A short hike from the turnout takes you to a
granite hill, from which in one direction you can see Tenaya
Lake a couple miles to the east (which is visible behind
my head in this photo), in the opposite direction you can
see the rugged Tenaya Canyon and Half Dome in the distance
(the next photo). |
